I believe it’s important to strip off the masks of a “post-worthy life” and be honest about our need of rescue and saving.
We are ALL THE SAME here -
broken and sinful.
We ALL need Jesus.
Many times, we don’t know how to access his saving power and then live strong in his grace. We need someone to walk alongside us.
Everything I speak about comes from the grit and tears of a desperate woman, me. God has met me in my mess and rescued me from myself with these 3 fundamental truths:
Embrace the imperfections
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. - 2 Corinthians 12:9
Invite Jesus into these spaces
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. - Revelation 3:20
Live in his grace
You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. - 2 Timothy 2:1
I love to gather with women around God’s word and experience the truth and power of his work in our lives. The humanness and relevancy revealed in the bible make his truth explode in life-saving ways.
